002 Seen One, Seen One Parkinson’s Patient

In this and the next episode we will explore what “if you’ve seen one Parkinson’s patient, you’ve seen one Parkinson’s patient” means. We will be speaking with four different patients and their care partners. Their stories are so inspiring, relatable and entertaining that we decided to include all of the discussion and split it into two episodes. We think you will hear a bit of yourself in these stories as well as be inspired by some new ways of approaching this journey.

  1. Another great podcast featuring two different couples handling the Parkinsons experience in their own ways. Informative as a patient as to how they have made Parkinsons a part of their lives, but not the sole focus of it.

  2. Another good podcast. Both couples were delightful to listen to and Sheryl did a great job keeping them on track. I thought that 42 minutes would drag, but it went by very fast!
The topic was “If you’ve seen one PD patient, you’ve seen one PD patient” so it might have been helpful to have each of them discuss a bit more about their symptoms and then do a wrap up where you talk about all the different symptoms. (Perhaps you will do that after Part 2. It was interesting that Bryan said that he did not have a tremor because PD is generally associated with tremors. Yet, Susie did have a tremor. That’s the kind of thing that you might have picked up on.
I know that a lot of time and effort goes into making one of these podcast so I actually hesitate to even mention that this could have been even better than it was. I just think that it would be more powerful if you came full circle.
